Automotive Film Options
Choosing the Right LLumar Film
Different LLumar film options are designed for different comfort levels, appearances, and budgets. In general, darker films can reject more heat, but film technology also matters. Higher-performance films can deliver better heat rejection, clarity, comfort, and long-term value.
Solar Shade can help you compare options in person so you understand what each film is best for before making a decision.

Customer Guidance
How We
Explain Film Performance
We keep the conversation simple. If your main goal is appearance and UV protection, an entry-level or mid-level film may be the right fit. If your main goal is heat rejection and comfort, a ceramic or premium film option may make more sense.
Film shade and film technology both matter. A darker shade can often reject more heat, but higher-performance films are designed to provide stronger comfort and better performance than basic film options.
Pinnacle and Stratos also include an additional one-time no-fault warranty, which may help cover certain real-world situations like scratches, re-tinting after glass replacement, or changing darkness.
Our team can walk you through the differences before installation so you feel confident choosing a film that fits your vehicle and budget.

After Installation
What to Expect After Tinting
A clean tint installation still needs time to fully dry and cure. After your appointment, our team will explain what to expect so you do not mistake normal curing for a problem.
Keep Windows Closed for 3 Days
Avoid rolling your windows down for the first 72 hours to allow the film to properly adhere.
Allow 2 Weeks for Full Curing
Temporary haziness, water pockets, bubbles, or a cloudy appearance can be normal during the curing period.
Avoid Ammonia-Based Cleaners
Use ammonia-free glass cleaners when cleaning the inside of your tinted windows.
Contact Us After Curing if Needed
If anything remains after the curing period, contact our team and we will help take care of it.
Flat Glass Film
Residential and Commercial Film Options
LLumar is not only for vehicles. Solar Shade also helps homeowners and businesses choose film solutions for flat glass, including windows, doors, storefronts, offices, conference rooms, and specialty glass.
Vista flat glass film options can support comfort, glare reduction, UV protection, privacy, and improved glass performance for homes and businesses. These films are commonly considered for bright rooms, sun-facing glass, storefronts, office partitions, and commercial spaces where comfort or privacy matters.
If you are comparing film for your home or business, our team can help explain which product makes sense for your specific glass, goals, and project conditions.
